Alongside the festivities, we want to take this opportunity to address an important and timely topic: the growing anti‑immigrant sentiment in society and what we, within our own communities, can do to counter this trend and contribute to a more positive, united Finland. This discussion is meant for honest introspection, to recognize the challenges we face, acknowledge areas where we as communities may need to improve, and explore practical steps we can take at both individual and collective levels to strengthen the image and contribution of Muslims and immigrants in Finland. We are honoured to host a diverse and experienced cross‑cultural panel of Muslim community leaders representing the Somali, Tatar, Iranian, Indian, and Pakistani communities. We warmly invite you to contribute to this important conversation.
Please share your questions, suggestions, and comments that you would like the panel to address. You may share your thoughts, feedback, comments by replying this post either by logging in to save your comments history, OR anonymously without logging in.
